I have to lecture a on the semantic web topic. The course is based on the following guidelines:

  • Represent and publish linked data on the Web (RDF);
  • Query and select data with SPARQL;
  • Represent vocabularies for reasoning
  • Deduce new data to enrich published descriptions (RDFS, OWL, SKOS)

I seek advices about real and good examples to introduce «Semantic web» and to illustrate the «Why the semantic web» from the well known web 2.0. I have 30 hours for the whole course including theorical lectures, exercises, practical work, everything.

Any other kind of advices to improve my lecture notes is welcome.
